Mr. Chaudhary is the lead for Mclagan’s financial institutions industry practice for India.
Mr. Chaudhary has assisted many multinational and local financial services organizations with their human capital challenges in India, the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation and the Middle East region. He manages all clients in the financial institutions (FI) space, and also builds thought leadership and content capability for the practice. Mr. Chaudhary also manages key client relationships with large banks and other FIs in India including multinational banks, local banks, insurance companies, NBFCs, asset management companies, investment banks as well as financial services conglomerates in the region.
Mr. Chaudhary has managed projects and overseen large consulting assignments in the FI space in India and South Asia. His primary solution areas include organization design, rewards strategy, structuring and benchmarking, job description and evaluation, organization structuring, performance management system design, and HR audit. He has also led and managed several industry compensation forums including the India banking study, India investment banking study, private banking study, Sri Lanka banking study and Mauritius banking study.
Within Hewitt, his earlier responsibilities included leading the key markets for the Middle East region and managing large and critical banking relationships. His past experience in the Middle East includes leading large scale projects in United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, largely in the FI space.
Prior to his tenure at Hewitt, Mr. Chaudhary spent four years in retail and corporate banking at HSBC in Delhi managing a portfolio of large Indian private sector corporates as well as key multinational clients.
Mr. Chaudhary has a MBA with specialization in marketing and finance from the Indian Institute of Management , Indore and completed his undergraduate studies with honors in economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. He also has a post graduate degree in journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication JNU, Delhi.
