In the Americas, we provide asset management firms with:

  • Annual pay surveys covering all functions (e.g., investments, sales, administration, transfer agency, DC business) and position levels (e.g., CEO through entry-level staff). The quality of these surveys is evidenced by our client list - which includes over 250 organizations including 49 of the top 50 firms (as ranked by Pensions and Investments, 2006.)

  • A range of proprietary studies focusing on asset management firm financial performance, staffing levels, investment performance, turnover levels, etc.

  • Compensation consulting assistance related to benchmarking competitive pay level and practices; designing annual, long-term and sales incentive plans; and providing senior management teams and boards of directors with pay advisory services.

  • Designed new wholesaler pay plans for a major mutual fund company.

  • Designed new institutional sales and relationship manager pay plans for a large global asset management company.

Pay advisory services, which includes:

  • Providing insight about current business and pay practices to the head of distribution at a major asset management firm.

  • Helping the CEO of a leading mutual fund company assess various incentive plan alternatives.

  • Providing year-end pay trend assistance to C-level executives at over 30 leading asset management firms.

  • Serving as the Board Compensation Consultant for several publicly traded asset management firms.

Complementing our annual pay surveys and ongoing compensation consulting work, we conduct a series of annual studies, including:
