Peter manages the McLagan compensation survey program in Asia-Pacific. He has a solid working experience in the compensation and benefits and human resources field in the banking industry.

Prior to joining McLagan, Peter worked for Citibank, JP Morgan and Development Bank of Singapore for various HR positions, including Compensation & Benefits and Business HR.

Peter holds a Professional Diploma in Human Resources Management from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong.

Robert is responsible for providing market intelligence and advisory services for clients on compensation strategy in the region. He is also responsible for the day-to-day management of McLagan in Asia Pacific (excluding Japan).

Prior to joining McLagan, Robert was with JPMorgan, where he served as regional head of compensation and benefits for the past six years, and handled numerous major HR merger and acquisition projects for the region. He has also held regional management positions at Merrill Lynch and Citibank and a consulting role at Watson Wyatt Hong Kong.

Robert completed his studies with an MBA at Andrews University (Berrien Springs, Michigan, USA).

Fontaine Lui is a Vice President in the Hong Kong team. Ms. Lui is responsible for the consulting business for Asia, excluding Japan and Australia, has geographical responsibility for Singapore and India and also leads various projects such as the Regional Benefits Survey and Commercial Real Estate business activities. With her HR Business Partner background, Fontaine also advises clients on broad HR Management issues such as Performance Evaluation and Change Management.

Prior to joining McLagan, Ms. Lui was the Regional HR Business Partner for JP Morgan's Asia Pacific Institutional Securities business, and Compensation & Benefits Director (Asia ex-Japan) for Morgan Stanley.

Fontaine holds a B.A from Macquarie University (Australia) and an M.B.A from Surrey University (UK).

Izumi Hotta is a Vice President, currently responsible for the Australia surveys and consulting projects, and holds primary client relationship management responsibilities with all the major domestic banks, as well as all major international institutions in the region.

Mr. Hotta holds a B.Sc. from the University of East Anglia, and graduate degrees from the London School of Economics and London Metropolitan University.

Yoko leads McLagan’s business activities in the Asia Pacific Region, and is directly responsible for all consulting services and survey management in Japan and Australia. Since joining the firm in 1991, she has provided professional assistance to a long list of financial services firms in the area of compensation planning and management.

Prior to joining McLagan, Yoko was Head of Human Resources for Citibank’s Investment/Corporate Banking businesses. Yoko holds a BA from International Christian University, Japan.

Since joining the firm in 2005, Steven has been providing advisory and consulting services to clients across different sectors of financial services and has advised clients on compensation analysis, plan design and management.

Prior to joining McLagan, Steven had a career in Fixed Income derivatives at NatWest Markets and Morgan Grenfell. He later had consulting experience at Korn/Ferry International and a sales leadership role at LEGO. Steven holds an MA from Harvard University and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.

Akiko Nakamura is a Vice President responsible for Real Estate, Private Equity, Insurance and Consumer Banking surveys/clients in Japan. Since joining McLagan in 2000, Akiko has worked on various projects, including the design of new salary and incentive plans for banks, asset management firms, and private equity firms.

Before joining McLagan, she worked at Yasuda Trust and Banking (currently Mizuho Trust and Banking) for 10 years, where she worked in several business areas including Corporate Banking relationship management, Fixed-Income sales, and Credit Analysis.

She holds an M.A. in Finance and Accounting from the Graduate School of Sydney University and a B.A. in Social Psychology from the University of Tokyo.
